THE Global Pulse Confederation’s premier annual event is being held in Sydney this week, and has drawn more than 500 delegates from around the globe to network and learn about the latest developments in this fast-changing sphere.
The conference is being held at the Hyatt Regency Sydney, and follows the Pulses 22 event which was held in Dubai in May last year.
Delegates from more than 50 countries are in attendance as testament to the scope of the pulse industry.
The opening Pulses 23 session included the presentation of lifetime GPC member awards to Gavin Gibson, Tasmania, who led Pulse Australia for 13 years and is a former CEO of GPC also, and Gordon Bacon, who was the inaugural CEO of Pulse Canada, a position he held from 1997 to 2021.
The event also saw the presentation of the Green Pea Sustainability Award to Paul Newnham, Melbourne-based executive director of the SDG2 Advocacy Hub and Beans is How board member.
